1. Xuan WEN, University of Rochester,Dual B.S. in Computer Sciense, Brain & Cognitive Science, joined CenBRAIN as a summer intern during 2019.7-2019.8, and did a project on classifying interictal and preictal EEG data using pattern recognition.

  2. Qiming(Regan) ZHANG, University of California, San Diego. B.S. in Bioengineering, with research interest in bioinstrumentation design. Joined CENBRAIN as a summer intern during 2019.07-2019.08, worked on building an analog system of measuring Photoplethysmography (PPG) and Electrocardiogram (ECG) from basic electrical modulus, conducted signal processing, and developed algorithm of estimating Blood Pressure. Continued project for further research.

  3. Guorui CHEN, Zhejiang University, B. Eng., with research interest in bioelectronics. Joined CENBRAIN as a visiting student during 2020.06-2020.08, worked on the Photoacoustic Imaging System, involving designing the light route, piezoelectric sensor, and data processing circuits.

  4. Minjia CHEN, received the Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic Information Engineering from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2020. She then completed the Westlake University Summer Studentship from 20th Jul. to 14th Aug. 2020, with the topic of circuits design of neural amplifiers in TSMC 65nm. She is going to pursue a PhD in Engineering in the field of monolithic silicon photonics at University of Cambridge since Oct. 2020.

  5. Yuxin(Christopher) WANG, The Ohio State University, B.S. in Biomedical Engineering, completed summer internship at CenBRAIN during 2020.7-2020.8. He worked on building biosensors for SARS-CoV-2 based on Capacitance/Impedance Measurement Platform. He participated in the biosensor’s functional testing by employing Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) and proposed potential factors for optimization of the biosensor.

  6. Shuhao MA, graduated from Hangzhou Foreign Language School, and has received offer from University College London to study BSc Mathematics and Physics as an undergraduate student. He joined CENBRAIN as a visiting student during 2020.07-2020.08, worked on the analysis of Inductive Power Transmission circuit.

  7. Caroline HUANG, Cornell University, B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering, joined CenBRAIN as a summer intern during 2020.07-2020.08, worked on combining electroencephalogram(EEG) and functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) for stroke prediction.

  8. Zhimeng WANG, Beijing University of Chemical Technology, B.S. in automation, with research interest in analog integrated circuits design. Joined CenBRAIN as a visiting student during 2020.07-2020.08, learnt about fundamentals of neural recording circuit design and ran simulations of a neural recording amplifier.

  9. Emma CHEN, Phillips Exeter Academy, joined CenBRAIN as a summer intern during 2020.8-2020.9, and investigated the potential application of fNIRS-EEG technology for stroke prediction.
