To encourage more women to pursue their dream career in science, and to create a more open, inclusive, and supportive environment for scientific research, the Westlake Education Foundation launched the program “Women of Westlake in Science” in 2022, to call for social support for career development of women scientists at Westlake University. The grand opening of the program took place on March 8, 2022, at Yungu Campus. The First Forum for Westlake Women Scientists and the Moment of Women Exhibition were also held. 

CenBRAIN’s Research Assistant Professor Sumin Bian was honored to offer a talk in the presence of several world-famous women scientists, including Dr. Minhao LIU, Secretary General of Westlake Education Foundation. During the forum, researchers actively and openly discussed many issues including the limitations and the advantages of being a women scientist.
