From June 19^th to 22^nd, Professor Sawan attended the 20th IEEE International NEWCAS Conference in Québec City, Canada. He was the Founder of this conference, 20 years ago. Joining this 20^th anniversary ceremony in person was meaningful to Professor Sawan, he gave a talk, as honorary Chair, summarizing the main events of NEWCAS. Also, he organized many events such as a minisymposium, and altogether with Dr. Jie Yang and Dr. Mahdi Tarkhan, he offered a 3-hour tutorial presenting  currently conducted research activities in circuits and systems for closed-loop neuromodulation. In addition, 2 papers were presented by members of CenBRAIN Neurotech.
