Di Wu got his B.S. degree from the Department of Computer Science, Harbin Institute of Technology. After graduation, Di went to Boston University where he received his M.S in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Di also worked as machine learning engineer at a BCI startup company based in Boston for two years. Currently, Di is a Ph.D. candidate in the Center of Excellence in Biomedical Research on Advanced Integrated-on-chips Neurotechnologies (CenBRAIN Neurotech) under supervision of Prof. Sawan.
His research interest in CenBRAIN Labs is machine learning for interdisciplinary research activities with a focus on neurological signal analysis including gesture recognition using surface electromyography (sEMG).
