Dr. Yang is currently an Associate Research Professor in CenBrain Lab at School of Engineering, Westlake University, Hangzhou. He received the B.S. degree in electronic science and technology from Tianjin University, Tianjin, China, and the Ph.D. degree in microelectronics from the Institute of Semiconductors, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China, in 2010, and 2015, respectively. From 2015 to 2019, he worked at the Integrated Intelligent Sensing Lab of the University of Calgary as Postdoc Researcher, after which he joined Westlake University in April 2019. Dr. Yang has published more than 40 articles and proceedings in the field of IC design.

  • Mixed-signal SoC for brain-machine interface
  • Energy-efficient AI algorithms and VLSI architecture
