Biography

Yankun XU received B.Eng. degree in Electronic Information Engineering from Shanghai Institute of Technology, Shanghai, China in 2016 and M.S. degree in Biomedical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden, in 2019. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree with Westlake University, Hangzhou, China. He has been a member of CenBRAIN research group, School of Engineering, Westlake University.

Research Interest and Project

His research interests include signal processing, machine/deep learning, and its hardware implementation on biomedical applications. He has participate several projects:

  • Deep learning algorithm design for improving epileptic seizure prediction.
  • Application of GAN to generate synthetic multi-channel EEG preictal signals.
  • Video-based behavior detection for epileptic seizure detection.
