Dr. Jie Yang received the B.S. degree in electronic science and technology from Tianjin University in 2010, and the Ph.D. degree in microelectronics from the Institute of Semiconductors, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2015. From 2015 to 2019, he was a post-doctoral fellow with the I2Sense Lab, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Calgary in Canada. He has designed different types of images, video signal processing chips and image sensors chips under advanced technologies during his Ph.D. and postdoc study. He joined Westlake University in 2019 as a research associate professor. His current research interests include circuits and systems for intelligent biomedical applications, mixed-signal SoC for brain-machine interface, energy-efficient AI algorithms and VLSI architecture. Dr. Yang has published more than 40 journal articles and conference proceedings papers, including TBioCAS, TCSVT, TCAS-II, ISSCC, JSSC, etc.
