Multimodal EEG-fNIRS

Introduction
This wearable and portable neurorecording system include 2 equipment: a 32-channel EEG and a 16-emitters/16 receivers functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS). The EEG records the electrical activity of the neurons in the brain via the electrodes mounted on the scalp. The fNIRS records optical signals passing through the optical path formed by an emitter and a detector. The signals show the concentration variation of the hemoglobins caused by hemodynamics. Multimodal neuroimaging can be achieved by simultaneously mounting the EEG and fNIRS devices on the scalp for recording.
