Fateh Ullah is involved in the design and fabrication of diverse materials for resistive switching single devices and crossbar arrays. Besides, he focuses on the engineering of novel materials and architectural designs for memristive devices. He is also indulged in the designing, synthesis, characterization, and application of functional molecular and polymeric organics, perovskite quantum dots, and 2D materials, which are promising contenders (readily available low-cost starting materials, ease of purification, and mechanical flexibility) with resistive switching characteristic, making it an attractive candidate for nanotechnologies. At the CenBRAIN Neurotech platform, he is employing these tuned chemical entities in memristors (a promising candidate owing to their CMOS compatibility, high-density devices, fast-switching speed, and low-power consumption) to sync them for neuromorphic computing, artificial synapses, etc.
