Biography

Razieh Eskandari received M.Sc. from Urmia University (Urmia, Iran), and Ph.D. from Sahand University of technology (Tabriz, Iran) in 2012 and 2020 respectively, both in electrical engineering. She was with Umia semiconductor company between 2012 and 2015 as a researcher. Also, she was a lecturer at Sahand University of technology as from 2016 to 2022. She joined CenBRAIN Neurotech Center of Excellence in 2022 as a postdoctoral fellow.

Research

Razieh Eskandari is a Postdoctoral fellow with a primary focus on wireless transceivers for biomedical applications. Her current project involvesa wireless bidirectional data link between a base station and remote receivers, specifically implantable medical devices like brain-machine interfaces. The purpose of these systems is to provide innovative solutions for neurodegenerative diseases. In her ongoing research, Razieh is working on ultra-low power Impulse radio ultra-wideband (IR-UWB) transceivers.
