Yuqiao Zheng got her B.S. in Nuclear Engineering from Xi’an Jiaotong University, Xi’an, China in June 2017, and she received her M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Hong Kong, China in November 2019. She joined the Center of Excellence in Biomedical Research on Advanced Integrated-on-chips Neurotechnologies (CenBRAIN Neurotech) and focusing on nanophotonic biosensors design and implementation in September 2021. She obtained her Ph.D degree from Westlake University / Zhejiang University in 2025.    

Yuqiao Zheng is interested in nanophotonic devices and materials, and their applications in biosensing, including device design, nanofabrication, and characterization. She participated in designing High-throughput Fully Automatic Biosensing Platform for Efficient COVID-19 Detection. Currently, Yuqiao Zheng is focusing on microcavity and metasurface-based nanophotonic sensor design, performance optimization and further exploration to achieve sensitive detection of multi-virus.
