Peibin Xu received his B.S. degree in Biological Sciences from Nanjing University, Nanjing, China, in 2024. He subsequently obtained his M.S. degree in Biomedical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA, USA. In March 2026, he joined the CenBRAIN Neurotech Center of Excellence as a research assistant.

His research focuses on the development of closed-loop brain-computer interface (BCI) systems and electrophysiological signal-based language decoding. His future work aims to integrate machine learning algorithms into these systems to facilitate the treatment and rehabilitation of epilepsy and other neurodegenerative diseases, as well as to enhance human-computer interaction.
