Sice Chen received his bachelor’ s degree from Biomedical Engineering at Hefei University of Technology, China in 2018. Currently, he is a graduate student at Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School, Shenzhen, China. He joined the CenBRAIN Neurotech Center of Excellence in 2023 as a visiting student.

Sice Chen is interested in nanophotonic devices and their application on biosensors, specifically targeting on research of microcavity and metasurface, including device design, nanofabrication, and characterization. Currently, he is focusing on applying nanophotonic devices to optical biosensors by devices design and performance optimization to achieve sensitive detection of biomarkers of neurodegenerative diseases.
