Dr. Zina Fredj obtained her PhD degree in Physics engineering in collaboration with the Institute of Technology Tallaght (Dublin, Ireland), the Biosensors and Bioelectronics Center (Linkoping- Sweden), the Institute of Analytical Sciences (Lyon- France), and the University of Technology (Chemnitz-Germany) in 2019. She joined CenBRAIN Neurotech in 2022 as a postdoctoral fellow. Currently, Dr. Fredj is a Research Assistant Professor specializing in the design and implementation of nanoscience-based biosensors.

Dr. Fredj’s research interests cover the design and implementation of nanoscience-based biosensors. These biosensors are based on the integration of biological molecules as receptors with micro- and nano-structures and intended for applications in environmental and biomedical areas. Presently, she is designing, implementing, and testing structures for neural cells and various neurotransmitters manipulation and detection.
