Tianyang Li obtained a Bachelor's degree in Rail Transit Signal and Control and a Master’s degree in Transportation Engineering from Shanghai University of Engineering Science. He joined the Westlake Institute of Optoelectronics as an Assistant Engineer in December 2023.

Tianyang is specializing in FPGA based electronic systems. He has over five years of experience in this engineering field. Currently, he focuses on software/hardware co-design, in particular in the development of brain-inspired models and hardware implementation. He is dedicated to advancing brain-computing technology and bridging the gap between software and hardware.
