Yueqian got her Bachelor degree in Pharmacy from Jiaxing University, and Master degree in Biomedicine from China Pharmaceutical University. She joined the Westlake Institute for Optoelectronics as an Assistant Engineer in 2024.

Yueqian Zhou is primarily responsible for laboratory animal experiments, including electrode implantation in mice and rats, electrophysiological signal acquisition, behavioural training and data collection, neural stimulation, establishment of various neurodegenerative disease models, as well as experimental protocol optimization and literature review.
