The delegation later attended the CenBRAIN Neurotech Leading Lecture Series (CELLS) held at the Academic Ring. The session was chaired by Prof. Mohamad Sawan, Chair Professor of the School of Engineering and Founding Director of the CenBRAIN Neurotech. Prof. Alexandros Charalambides from the Department of Chemical Engineering at the Cyprus University of Technology delivered an engaging academic talk titled "Intra-day Solar Energy Forecasting."

As a Fulbright Scholar and member of the International Solar Energy Society Board, Prof. Charalambides shared his team’s innovative breakthroughs in short-term photovoltaic power forecasting models. The research eliminates reliance on traditional meteorological data and enables high-precision predictions using only time-series data from multi-point grid-connected photovoltaic systems, offering critical technical support for grid stability and renewable energy dispatch.
