在Mohamad Sawan教授的领导下,西湖大学先进神经芯片中心(CenBRAIN Neurotech)坚持研究成果质与量并举。不仅继续巩固在集成电路设计领域的优势,更在脑神经科学与AI的交叉领域上找到了更广阔的应用场景。

CenBRAIN Neurotech Center of Excellence at Westlake University, reflects on a period of significant growth and achievement in 2025.
Under the leadership of Professor Mohamad Sawan, the center has deepened its core research while expanding into new, interdisciplinary frontiers at the confluence of brain neural technology and artificial intelligence.

稳扎稳打,质效双升/ Solid Foundations, Quality Output
科研之路从无捷径,每一次发表都是无数个深夜的打磨与推敲。
年初,博士生方潮铭的论文成功发表于集成电路设计领域顶级期刊 IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits (JSSC),为年度科研工作奠定坚实基础;年末,博士生吴辉的研究成果成功入选“芯片设计奥林匹克”——IEEE ISSCC 2026,将代表中心在国际学术舞台展现科研实力,进一步提升中心的国际学术影响力。
一年来,团队共发表期刊30余篇、会议论文27篇,获得授权发明专利7项,另有多项专利正在紧锣密鼓地申请中。
好消息从年头传到年尾,微信群里此起彼伏的祝福,是对成果的喝彩,更是对每一位科研人辛勤付出的致敬。
The past year was marked by rigorous research and high-impact publications. Our research center's commitment to excellence is evident in its scholarly output, headlined by key publications in premier forums.
Ph.D student Chaoming Fang's research was published in the IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits (JSSC), a flagship journal in integrated circuit design.

Later in the year, Ph.D student Hui Wu's work earned a coveted spot for presentation at the IEEE International Solid-State Circuits Conference (ISSCC) 2026, often regarded as the premier global stage for chip design.
Overall, we published over 30 journal papers, 27 conference papers, and was granted 7 invention patents, with several more pending under active application.
Good news echoed from the beginning to the end of the year, with continuous celebrations in our WeChat group, applause for the achievements and a tribute to the hard work of every researcher.

2025年,本中心持续完善人才培养体系,从博士后到博士生,从科研助理到毕业生,每一位成员都在各自的赛道上稳步前行,绽放光彩。

In 2025, the center continued to refine its talent cultivation system. From postdocs to doctoral students, from research assistants to graduates, every member progressed steadily in their respective fields, shining brightly.
博士后Md Belal Bin Heyat凭借扎实的学术积累与优异的研究成果,入选2025年度“全球前2%顶尖科学家”榜单。
Postdoctoral fellow Md Belal Bin Heyat was listed among the "Top 2% of Scientists” in 2025 for his solid academic foundation and outstanding research achievements.

助理研究员Razieh Eskandari与博士生吴辉的研究成果,分别荣获IEEE ISCAS’25会议WiCAS最佳研究论文奖和生物医学电路与系统领域最佳论文奖;
Our Researcher Assistant Professor Razieh Eskandari won the WiCAS Distinguished Research Paper Award and PhD student Hui Wu received the Best Biomedical Circuits and Systems Paper Award at the 2025 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (IEEE ISCAS’25).

科研助理廖志鹏在2025“智联·未来”脑机接口国际会议暨第二届中国脑机智能大会、2025年机器智能与自然启发计算国际会议(MIND 2025)上,分别获得亮点墙报奖和最佳论文奖;
Research assistant Zhipeng Liao received the Highlight Poster Award at the 2025 International Conference on Brain-Machine Intelligence and the Best Paper Award at the 2025 International Conference on Machine Intelligence and Nature-Inspired Computing (MIND 2025).

此外,多名同学凭借优异表现获得重要奖学金。吴辉荣获2024-2025学年“苏武奖学金”,郑钰乔获“工学院惠果奖学金”,柴诚芃更是一举摘得“蔡司科学奖”和“西湖大学院长专项奖学金”双项荣誉!
Additionally, several students received prestigious scholarships for their exceptional performance. Hui Wu was awarded the "Su Wu Scholarship" for the 2024-2025 academic year, Yuqiao Zheng received the "School of Engineering Huiguo Scholarship", and Chengpeng Chai earned both the "ZEISS Science Award" and the "Westlake University Dean’s Special Scholarship."
人才输出上,我们同样“稳”中有进。
2025年,本中心成功培养5位博士毕业生(杨曦、吴迪、章洪永、陈锦波、郑钰乔),其中陈锦波、吴迪、章洪永3位同学荣获西湖大学-浙江大学联培优秀毕业生称号。此外,还有3位博士后成员(Fahimeh Marvi、徐羽晨、苏逸)顺利出站,继续在阿尔茨海默症早期干预、脑卒中康复、微纳生物传感器设计等前沿领域开展研究。
In talent output, we also achieved steady progress.
In 2025, the center successfully graduated Five PhD students (Xi Yang, Di Wu, Hongyong Zhang, Jinbo Chen, Yuqiao Zheng), with Jinbo Chen, Di Wu, and Hongyong Zhang recognized as outstanding graduates of the Westlake University-Zhejiang University Joint Program. Three postdoctoral fellow (Fahimeh Marvi, Yuchen Xu, Yi Su) completed their postdoctoral exit defenses and will continue researching in cutting-edge fields such as diagnosis of Alzheimer's disorder, stroke rehabilitation, and micro-nano biosensor design.

自2019年以来,中心累计培养博士毕业生10名,毕业生基本全员深耕科研领域:或入职哈尔滨工业大学(深圳)、东北大学秦皇岛分校等高校任教职,或进入杜克大学、中国科学院声学研究所、浙江大学、西湖大学等顶尖学府及研究机构开展博士后研究。相信他们将把先进神经芯片中心的科研精神,传递到更广阔的平台。
Since 2019, the center has cultivated 10 PhD graduates, with almost all of them deeply engaged in research. Some hold faculty positions at Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen) and Northeastern University (Qinhuangdao Campus), while others have pursued postdoctoral research at top institutions such as Duke University, the Institute of Acoustics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Zhejiang University, and Westlake University. We believe they will carry the research spirit of our CenBRAIN Neuortech to broader platforms.
稳固纽带,协同发展 / Strengthening Connections, Collaborative Development
2025年,我们持续推进学术交流平台建设,一边“走出去”交流取经,一边“请进来”碰撞思想,继续加强与国内外专家学者的知识联动。
Mohamad Sawan教授全年受邀分享十余场,连续三年在中关村论坛传递前沿观点;团队成员携研究成果赴伦敦、哥本哈根、新加坡等地参会,在互学互鉴中把握领域前沿,拓宽学术视野。
CenBRAIN Neurotech actively engaged with the global scientific community in 2025. Professor Mohamad Sawan was invited to deliver more than 20 keynotes throughout the year and, for the third consecutive year, shared cutting-edge insights at the ZGC Forum Annual Conference. Team members presented their work at international conferences in London, Copenhagen, and Singapore.

除此之外,中心筹备组织了15场高水平学术讲座,成功主办1期“云谷论坛”,更在风光秀丽的莫干山,圆满落下第五届先进神经芯片中心年度学术会议的帷幕。
We also hosted 15 high-level academic seminars, organized a "Yungu Lectureship" session, and successfully convened our 5th Annual workshop in the scenic setting of Moganshan.

一场场思想的碰撞,一次次真诚的交流,也在塑造中心更加多元和包容的科研氛围。
当然,科研路上也少不了温暖的同行时光。团建活动小组贴心策划了春游与秋游活动,让大家暂别实验室的忙碌,在欢声笑语中拉近彼此的距离,成为2025年里格外珍贵的美好回忆。
Beyond academia, our center organized two camping activities in spring and autumn strengthened bonds and fostered a collaborative and supportive research culture.

行稳致远,续写新篇 / Looking Ahead
站在2025与2026的交汇点回望,这一年我们稳稳扎根、步步前行,每一项工作都交出了不错的阶段性答卷。 展望新一年,我们会继续带着“稳中求进,行稳致远”的初心,让科研创新和人才培养再往前迈一大步!
